Even though it was raining pretty hard, Frank did an excellent job of staying ahead of the rain and getting us outside. He showed us native Arizona cacti and other plants. We then went on the Dolly for a trip around Canyon Lake. It was awesome even in the rain. Finally we stopped at a wonderful restaurant in Tortilla Flats that had prickly pear lemonade and prickly pear ice cream! Just a wonderful day.

This was a great tour! Our guide, Zane was knowledgeable, funny, picked us up at our location “on time” and he was a good driver! He truly made this excursion a memorable event. The Lost Dutchman Park was beautiful, and the stories we heard about it were interesting. The steamboat ride was wonderful! We highly recommend this tour.

A wonderful tour with Dan

This tour was well worth the money. We were picked up at the motel. After the minibus had all the guests together, we went into the Sonoran Desert. There Dan showed us many types of kateen on the Apatschi Trail and explained them with a lot of knowledge. He shortened the way to Canyon Lake with a lot of explanations. When we arrived at the lake, we took a boat called Dolly on a 1 1/2 hour tour. We could even see a sea eagle. The ride was excellent. Then we went to a small museum village for lunch. In this lively pub you could see a lot of old things that led back to the gold mining town. The journey home at over 40 degrees was bearable in an air-conditioned minibus. In this way, many thanks to Dan.
