    1. From Cusco: Full-Day Sacred Valley Tour with Lunch

The first stop on this full-day tour from Cusco is the Mirador of Taray for spectacular views of the Andes and the Sacred Valley. Continue to the town of Pisac, the site of a popular market.. Visit the archaeological site and see the agricultural terraces, Inca cemeteries and royal buildings. Continue to Urubamba and enjoy a buffet lunch at a restaurant. Head to Ollantaytambo, built to guard the entrance to Machu Picchu, and to protect the Incas from possible invasions. Visit the picturesque village of Chinchero on the way back to Cusco, and see the remains of the royal estate of Tupac Inca Yupanqui. See also how locals dye alpaca wool with natural plants of the region.

Julio was great. He took care of us the whole trip. He was knowledgeable and let us take breaks during the hikes to catch our breath.

What people are saying about Pisac

I really enjoyed this tour. It was great to see all of the different Inca sites after having gone to Machu Picchu a few days before. Our guide was very knowledgeable and did a great job operating a bilingual tour. These sites have a lot of stairs (no seriously…a lot of stairs). Between the altitude and my strike against exercise, I definitely struggled. Our guide was super positive and took time to stop and explain things to the rest of the group while I panted in the corner. I very much enjoyed our activity and our wonderful guide!

As a solo traveler, this tour was excellent. This was my first tour on my trip in Peru. The guide was so helpful and informed us of everything every step of the way. I was suffering from a bit of altitude sickness and he made sure I was ok all day. He even took amazing pictures for me. I definitely recommend this tour.

We were picked up on time from our hotel and taken to the pick up location for the tour bus. Our tour guide, Cesar, was great. He had a lot of interesting information to offer. He handled the group very well to make sure that everyone follows the schedule. The van, the driver and the buffet lunch were great too.

It’s a long day but worth it! You’ll get to see some of the top/best sites that the Sacred Valley has to offer. And our guide was really helpful and knowledgeable too!
