Full description

Discover natural and archeological treasures of Riviera Maya on this guided day trip. Choose your ideal starting point and set off to see the historical hotspots of Cobá and Tulum. See the evolution of a society as you walk the modern streets of Playa del Carmen, along the Caribbean coast.

At Cobá you’ll find Nohoch Mul, the highest pyramid of the Yucatán peninsula. Race to the top or take it slow and steady, and take in the gorgeous view from the top. Learn about ancient ways of living in the region from your guide, and top it off with a dip in the tranquil waters of Choo-Ha cenote.

Fill up at the buffet lunch, full of traditional and tasty foods, before heading to Tulum. With the majestic ruins and vast views of the Caribbean sea, it’s easy to picture the town’s origins as a major port. Relax with the sound of gentle waves and the feeling of the sun on your skin.

Finish off the day at Playa del Carmen on the Caribbean shore. You’ll have some free time to walk the pedestrianized streets, visit its craft and designer shops, and soak up the unique atmosphere. Catch some time to rest and reminisce on your journey back.

The van picked us up right on time. As soon as everyone was onboard Esther began introducing us all to the Mayan sites and Mayan Culture so we could better understand what we were seeing. First stop was Tulum and after a guided start, we had ample time to explore on our own. The next stop was at a Cenote where we witnessed a blessing ceremony by a Mayan Shaman. The cenote was cool and clean, our group was the only one there, it was a beautiful experience and the buffet lunch served next inside a screened Restaurant was authentic and delicious, all the employees were very kind and courteous. Last stop was Coba and maybe we could have had a bit more time, we were trying to rush through in the alotted hour. Upon returning to the van Esther had our custom drawn personal Mayan calendars ready and spent the ride home walking us through all the meanings. Overall a fantastic experience we will definitely treasure!

It is a tour that we recommend without a doubt. We entered Tulum first, we went to a Mayan community where we were alone, we had a cenote for ourselves and we ate very well. Then coba is very interesting and they give you time to explore at your leisure. to finish a little time to walk around playa del carmen. All perfect. Our guide was Mina and the driver Armando.
