It was quite a memorable experience, with the lakes turning out to be every bit as beautiful as it looks on the internet. Do dress warmly though - we visited the park during the last week of September and it was already very cold, with temperatures between 5 and 10 degrees. Very informative and helpful tour guide.

A must see, bucket list item! Absolutely stunning & worth the trip from Zadar. The great waterfall is not to be missed! Be sure to check the forecast before going, it can be sunny in Zadar, but cold/rainy at the lakes, or vice versa. Be sure to bring comfortable shoes with good grip for hiking (i.e. no flip flops), warm/dry clothes if its going to rain. Also, arrive 30-60mins early to the tour bus for the return trip, otherwise the bus may leave without you. Do not underestimate the time it takes to either walk back or wait for the park bus that returns back to parking area!!

Excellent trip. Big coach and smaller mini bus getting there with no troubles. We got on the smaller bus and once that was filled, we left (7.38am). The bus driver collected the prepaid tickets (pay to main organiser 250 kunas when signing in) and off we trott. Hiking trail H was what most of us did to ensure we were back by 3.30pm for departure. The hike took roughly 4hrs. Would recommend and definitely go back for a longer trek!
