1. From Cannes: Round-Trip Ferry to Ste. Marguerite Island

Book your round-trip ferry tickets in advance for a visit to Ste. Marguerite Island from Cannes. As soon as you disembark on the island, you’ll be captivated by the fragrance of pine and eucalyptus. Follow the marked trails that take you on a botanical and historical tour of the island. The walk takes you by Batéguier Pond, where numerous species of migratory birds can be seen, and to the Pointe de la Convention, where you’ll find unique plant species. Continue on to Fort Royal, the former residence of the legendary Man in the Iron Mask. The Maritime Museum, sheltered within a fortified enclosure, also offers an invaluable insight into the area's history. Dogs are welcome on board the ferry, and on Sainte Marguerite Island, provided they are on leash.

We loved the excursion: quick trip by boat in the open air, arrival on the island which is quite large with a forest, a lake etc. Attention pebble beach and not possible to swim in the lake!! Great experience quieter than on the beaches of Cannes

Highly recommended to take the ferry to the island. The kids loved it! The island itself is easily accessible. Fort is still a nice walk uphill. We quickly looked for a pebble beach. Water shoes are highly recommended.

Prompt service when exchanging digital tickets for paper ones. Got in an earlier boat as we were there early. Comfortable seats, short crossing.

Very good just small negative point of the dry algae on the beaches which stick everywhere. Otherwise very nice

Nice trip, pleasant island, possibility of swimming, practical shaded corners
