  This tour starts at Sorrento station - our guide accompanied us on the train, organised our entry and provided an interesting tour through the ruins, leaving us with extra time to continue exploring and a clear explanation of how to get back to Sorrento when ready. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed the tour. The only drawback is the train itself - so nothing to do with the tour really - but be prepared , it’s incredibly crowded and hot and our return trip was about 40 minutes late.
