Full description

Get a taste of Venice in a hassle-free manner on this full-day tour. Marvel at the city's museums, churches, and palaces, take a gondola ride in the canals, or sit back and soak up the city in a cafe, bar, or restaurant.

Start your day with check-in at the port of departure. Choose from either Porec, Rovinj, Pula, and Umag in Croatia, or Piran in Slovenia. Once you finish the check-in and passport control, begin your Venice experience.

On the vessel, choose any seat you like and relax in comfort. While crossing the Adriatic Sea, receive an interesting explanation of Venice, its history, all the dos and don'ts in the city, what to expect, and any optional extras you can opt to take once there with your guides.

Upon arrival in Venice at San Basilio, make your way through passport control. Then, walk to the center with your guides, or embark on an optional guided transfer to St. Mark's Square. Hear special stories of the city while avoiding the hot summer sun.

Gather at Saint Marcus Square for your free guided tour of the square to help you appreciate Venice even more. After this, enjoy ample free time to explore the city, shop for souvenirs, take a walk in one of the many alleys, or sip a Bellini in one of the beautiful piazzas (squares).

Alternatively, visit one of the many museums, churches or palazzos; your Venice experience is for you to create. Choose to join an optional gondola ride or have your guides organize a lunch for you to make your experience even more hassle-free.

Later, head back to the port. Walk with the guides or take an optional water taxi ride through the Grand Canal and see the Rialto Bridge and all the palazzos en route. Embark upon your return journey aboard the catamaran, and sit back, relax, and reflect upon a wonderful day in Venice.

Efficient and informative tour. Guides made it very clear what to do when, and what to expect so we felt comfortable. We opted for all the activities in Venice, boat transport to the square, pasta lunch, gondola ride, and water taxi tour. Well organized for large group. Easy to see the orange umbrella!

From our point of view, value for money was absolutely reasonable. Whether or not you follow the (in our opinion well and entertainingly made) "sales offers" on board for further events in Venice is up to you and I think that there is definitely a clientele for whom these additional offers have their justification - also had here we didn't get the impression that the price/performance ratio wasn't right, even though we didn't use/book any additional offers... The specified journey times/durations can probably only be achieved under absolutely ideal conditions - we had excellent weather and a calm sea and yet both the Both the outward journey and the return journey took at least an hour longer... - nevertheless, we felt that the time in Venice was absolutely sufficient - you should perhaps plan a little more time. All in all a fair deal for the price

The departure from Rovinj was at 7 a.m. We arrived in Venice at 11:15 am. The control in Venice lasted another 15 minutes, so that the discovery of Venice could start at 11.30 am. On the trip to Venice, one was very well informed about the origin and history of Venice. However, it was very cramped in Economy Class. The tour of St. Mark's Square was also very good. The other optional options (gondola ride, transfer boat, lunch and the tour through the Canal Grande for a total of €100 per person) were omitted. Departure from Venice was at 5.15 p.m. The time in Venice was enough to get an overview of the city and to discover some beautiful places. However, if you really want to have time for discovery, you should not just book a day trip. However, the day trip was very nice for us.
