Full description

On this 12-hour program, you’ll travel to Venice by high-speed catamaran. Discover old squares, stunning palaces, churches, and galleries as you explore the city. At 7 AM you'll board the catamaran in the port of Poreč, and at 07:30 you’ll be on your way to Venice. On the catamaran sails out, you can sit back, relax and enjoy a short introduction to Venice. You'll also be offered some optional services such as gondola rides, taxi boat rides, lunch, and more. As you approach Venice you’ll have views of the islands in the lagoon and a panoramic view of the city. Disembark at 10:30 AM and from that point, you can explore the city at your leisure. Take a short walk to Piazza San Marco. From there you can head into the maze of streets off the square. Enjoy a gondola ride along the canals. Try some of the city’s fine cuisine. The crossing and the program are very well organized and given the temperatures, we were grateful to be guided a bit. There were no significant delays or anything like that and all 3 guides from the Kompas team acted very professionally, always provided information in several languages, steered with a lot of friendliness, quickly grouped us before the boat trips and thus brought us a good deal closer to Venice. Great, that's how we imagined it. Thank you Team Kompas for a great day

A very nice trip. The tour is very well organized. Very nice and helpful tour guide with very good tips for Venice. Additional offers for Venice are sold on board. You don't have to take part in this, everyone as they wish. We took the boat trip from the port of call to St. Mark's Square and the return trip by taxi boat, as it was very hot that day. We can always recommend the return trip by taxi boat through the Grand Canal. You can see everything from Venice again. The tour guide is very attentive and also makes sure that all passengers are back on board. It was a beautiful day in Venice. Many thanks to the entire ship staff

Well organized trip to Venice. 2 hours at 25 knots and then another 1 hour through the lagoon at reduced speed. Then the top deck will also be opened. Lecture given on the history of Venice, interesting. I can't comment on that. If something is offered, yes, but you don't have to take advantage of it. Free guided tour of St. Mark's Square. We took the water bus back and forth from the port. Buy tickets online beforehand. Cheapest ticket €7.50/75 minutes. Return with line 1 on the Canale Grande to the terminus recommended. It doesn't get any cheaper. The ship is well air-conditioned and was quite empty on a Saturday. At noon we bought canapés in the Enoteka Schiavi and paused under a tree diagonally opposite. Next to it is also the old shipyard Squero di San Trovaso.
