    Check-in at the Sailaway office at the marina at 4:30 PM for a 5:00 PM departure. Climb aboard a luxury catamaran for a 1.5-hour evening cruise.     The sunset cruise was very enjoyable. It would of been better if it was not overcast, but you can not predict the weather. The staff were friendly and it was a relaxing way to spend a couple of hours

    Experience snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Snorkel at 3 incredible reefs sites and enjoy relaxing breaks in between.

    Your experience begins with a pickup from your hotel from where you will be transported to the Crystalbrook Marina. Arrive at the marina and be welcomed on board from 8:20 AM. Receive an outline of the day along with a safety briefing conducted by the crew.

    Depart the marina and venture to the World Heritage Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and at 10:15 AM arrive at the first reef site. Divers will be briefed while traveling to the reef. Once moored, divers are ready to go while all other guests are joined together for a snorkel briefing.

    Wow. Even before we were onboard we were welcomed with smiles. The safety briefing and snorkelling gear demonstration and fitting was thorough and very well presented. We were guided on how to snorkel, where to go and how to care for the reefs and coral. The first reef in particular had an large array of beautiful colours and shapes of coral as well as all sorts of tropical fish and then we snorkelled at 2 other reefs later. Just wonderful! The food and drinks were plentiful and tasty. In and out of the water there were opportunities to learn about the marine life. Everyone of the staff on board were friendly, approachable, helpful and looked like they really enjoyed their jobs. A big highlight during our travels! Thank you to all involved.

    Very friendly grew - small group of passengers allowed for a very comfortable full day cruising to the outer reef. Great food supplied for the full day - snorkeling was amazing - lots of colourful coral, beautiful fish, saw a giant clam. Coral Cay was amazing, would definitely do this trip again if given the chance.

    Great tour. Steve, Caroline and Ben were a great crew, very knowledgeable and made the outing a very pleasant and a memorable one. Felt very safe, food was delicious and the Catamaran was very classy. Not too crowded, which also enabled to ask plenty of questions. Weather was perfect and we saw a whale, turtles n black tip sharks on the tour

    Fantastic experience with a lot of activities to engage in but the time was rather short so I ran out of time for the last couple of activities. It was windy so both the boats and reef platform were very shaky, making it a huge challenge to take photos.

    Well worth it. This is a fantastic day trip in a nice small group. Our guide Jans was extremely knowledgeable and the whole experience was well organised. You can tick off so many sites in this region in a single day and it doesn’t even feel rushed. 100% recommend.

    Scott and Bray were awesome taking us out to the reef. We had a fabulous afternoon. Quick fun trip out on the boat and the fish were amazing. The coral in this area was much more colourful than that we had seen on the reef off cairns or Port Douglas. Thanks for an awesome, informative trip!

A great day out! Our tour guide was Tom G, he shared a lot of information about the rainforest and natural environment and overall made the day easy going and interesting!

Really enjoyed this trip. Great customer service and lunch wasn’t bad at all. I would definitely recommend this trip to my friends and family.
