Full description

The heart of the vineyard area is located in the North Willamette Valley on gentle hills that give way to expansive views of the vines and valley below. This 6-hour Oregon wine tour will show you 3 of the area’s finest wineries, and you can visit their tasting rooms and sample the wines. The wine region in the north Willamette valley, which was once known for fruit orchards and nurseries, has transformed into one of the country’s premier cool-climate varietal producers. . Driver guide was great, friendly, informative. First two stops were great, Rocco and Erath, but then we went to The Vineyard from Hell. Domaine Serene. we walked in and the first young lady told us in an arrogant tone, sorry, you have no reservation. We sat down, but then the next female waiter, also was not kind and said, are you sure you should be here. Then the female manager wasn’t nice and had an arrogant unfriendly tone with us. Never once saying, don’t worry we will work it out. The owner of the Tour Mr. Pendelton? Is a member there and we were told by the guide that we will have our tasting in the members tasting room. Well, not the case. Then the Male manager came over and was snobbish to us, as if he owned the joint. We decided to all walk out. We, being two older couples from NYC and Austin. My wife said to him , you could have been nicer to us.. He started to sass my wife, so I immediately told him to shut up , as no one talks to my wife that way.

Great Day! Great Wine! Great company and tour guide

Our tour guide - Gunner, was on time, very polite and knowledgeable. He keep us all well entertained as we traveled to the Willamette Valley. The day was very cold, but clear blue skies, with snow across the vineyards and surrounds and amazing views of the distant mountains. The wine tasting was very enlightening and enjoyable, great Pinot Noir's, A fabulous tour and well worth doing when visiting Portland!!

Amazing tour with the best guide ever!

Our first visit to this beautiful valley consisted of a door to door service from one of the most knowledgable and friendly tour guides I've ever met. Just a splendid event for anyone who wants to break away from the "normal" and explore a prestine part of the US we don't normally see. Thank you Gunner!
