Superb tour. Milena is a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable on the history of Portugal as well as stories on traditions and popular legends. A real pleadure to spend the day with her. Wish our next tours were with her. Also, daytrip from Porto to Braga and Guinaraes is a must, if you have the time.

The first part in Braga was interesting and the views were definitely worth it. The Guimarães section disappointed us. A castle / fortress and the palace of the dukes where in both cases we had to pay our entrance fees contrary to what we had understood, nothing seen from the village. The lunch had not been confirmed, two possible dishes bacalau and over-roasted goat almost just bones. We were only 7 which is good but the guide did not give clear instructions, we waited for 2 people at the Palace of the Dukes beyond an hour and a half without explanations.

On the morning of the trip the tour operator called me on my cell phone asking to show us in a square for the departure, after 20 minutes from the departure the driver announced that the first stop would be in a winery house, so we discovered that by mistake of the tour operator we had been placed on a different tour. After several insistences we managed to get a car to take us to Braga and Guimaraes. Cities that we visited in half the scheduled time (arrived in Braga at 12.30) without the guide for which we had paid. We also had to pay for our own lunch and entrance tickets to churches and museums. Although the tour operator made an effort to remedy the error, the result was certainly not suitable for repairing the damage. Also to get the driver, we had to insist a lot because their first offer was to leave us in a train station to take a train to Porto at our expense and practically losing a day
