    Taste the wines of the Douro Valley wine region and get magnificent views of Régua and its terraced vineyards. Go to an organic winery to sample some of the delicious port wines and then visit Pinhão to admire the hand-painted tiles of the magnificent train station. Stop for lunch in a typical Portuguese restaurant and get magnificent views of the area, said to be one of the most beautiful in the world. Sample local olive oils, honey, red, rosé and white wines, along with grape juice and almonds produced in the region carved by the Douro River and its tributaries.

    Beautiful, fun and tadty

    Great trip to the beautiful Douro Valley. Wines were delicious. I’ve was a fun and gracious tour guide. We had a snag with an unexpected road closure but the staff quickly rallied and took an alternate route so we still got the full experience. Lunch was delicious. I o even made a special trip back to Dallas ur hotel to return a hat I left in the van. Highly recommended.

    Easy, efficient way to see the beautiful Douro

    We really enjoyed this beautiful trip. The wine tastings were good, the lunch in a gorgeous Quinta, along with coffee and more port while relaxing beside the estate's swimming pool and enjoying broad views of vineyard terraces. Philip was a good driver (I am a nervous passenger) and he enlightened us with commentary about wines and the region. Thoroughly worthwhile for people like us who do not want to drive.

    Wonderful tour and Sara our driver was amazing!

    Loved it! All the stops were wonderful! I wasn't a big fan of the lunch provided it was good quality but not exactly what I expected. Pork was a little dry, the cod dish was a little heavy made with cream and cheese, and the vegetarian plate was a veggie lasagna. Sara our driver was AMAZING! Knows so much about the area, is so patient, and a real people person. The van is a little tight in space and not very comfortable for 1 hour plus drive.
