It's a must if you want to see the palace! My family and I made it a day trip. It was a 30 min drive from Paris. Make sure to line up early because even if you have your tickets the line was still long. The audio guide came in handy and it was nice to learn the history. Make sure you use comfortable walking shoes since you are going to walking throughout the whole estate. Once you enter the gardens there are restaurants and they have really good food. Also if you want to splurge and a bit lazy to walk they offer golf cart and bike rentals to get around! Overall it was a great experience and it's a must!

Dagmar was the best and did an excellent Tour with us. Her explanation of the Astronomical Clock was Perfect and to the point; her Tour was interesting, and at the same time highly entertaining. Only the explanations on the Jewish quarter were too short, and we did not even visit the Jewish cemetery.
