Its name reflects the fact that one of its walls borders directly with the adjacent house. The church’s Romanesque base dates from the 12th century and the building was later modified in Gothic and Baroque styles. At one time the church was a lively center of the Utraquist Church and supported by wealthy burghers. The famous Baroque sculptor Ferdinand M. Brokoff is buried here.

Nice concert. Good musicians, though they seemed to speed through the music at an excessive tempo (the concert finished ten minutes earlier than advertised; perhaps they had somewhere else to be afterwards!) which meant that in the echoey acoustics of the church a lot of the intricacies were lost. Still, an enjoyable experience.

1 hour of very pleasant music in this holy place where the sound is excellent

4 and not 5 STARS not for the performance of the musicians but for the price. Why charge a priority placement on the first rows when the placement is FREE !!!! No one in the room for any placement "first rows" People paid 500 crowns (700 to us 4 is a difference of 800 crowns) for the same places.
