    Begin your journey early in the morning at 8:00 AM, as your driver picks you up from your hotel in Tbilisi to transfer you to Kutaisi. The road to Kutaisi (the second biggest city in Georgia) will take you over the Rikoti Pass, and through the longest tunnel in Georgia (1,722 meters). On the way to Kutaisi, stop in Surami and taste famous freshly baked Nazuqi (sweet bread baked in an oven). Then, arrive in Kutaisi City, where you will have the option for lunch (by request), before continuing your way to Okatse Canyon. Okatse Canyon is one of the most popular canyons in Georgia and is divided into two upper and lower sections.     Great experience if you are new to Georgia. Georgi is very nice and knowledgeable. We have seen many things around Kutaisi in one day, but the pace was just right. So we had a very relaxing, insightful and fun day with Georgi.

    After pickup from your hotel at 1:00 PM, your first stop will be the Prometheus Cave. Kumistavi, or Prometheus Cave, is the biggest cave in Georgia. Admire the many stalactites, stalagmites, petrified waterfalls, underground rivers, and lakes within the cave. Throughout the cave there are also colorful lights illuminating the caverns. You have two options to explore the impressive cave, either a walk along the 1,600-meter long path, or a boat ride along the underground river. Following the cave you will proceed to the Martvili Canyon. Located in the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region, the canyon is one of the most gorgeous places in Georgia.     Meet your guide at your Tbilisi hotel at 10:00AM for your 9-hour tour. Traveling by climate-controlled minivan, drive 2.5 hours to Kutaisi, Georgia’s second largest city. Visit the Gelati Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and its medieval monastic complex. Learn about the history of this place from your guide and admire the monastery’s mosaics. Great experience if you are new to Georgia. Georgi is very nice and knowledgeable. We have seen many things around Kutaisi in one day, but the pace was just right. So we had a very relaxing, insightful and fun day with Georgi.

Very nice guide, good tour. Unfortunately the weather wasnt good, but I still enjoyed it. The Prometheus cave was a bit hard to handle for someone older and not so good at climbing stairs. But overall I recommend this tour!
