This was a beautiful hike. We were part of a group of 12 (excluding the guide), which I think is the maximum for this activity. The guide was very friendly and shared some information in both French and English. We mostly cared about having someone who could show us exactly where to go. You could probably replicate the experience for free but would need to do some research first and risk taking a worse trail or getting lost, which we wanted to avoid. In terms of difficulty, it should be OK for anyone who doesn’t have mobility issues but be prepared for a moderate to intense workout. Also, I imagine it would be a thousand times harder on a very hot day — the max temp was 81F when we went, which helped a lot. We also took lots of breaks. There was a stop early on at a rocky beach where you could swim, just be careful with the jellyfish if you go in the water. I would also say bring at least 2L of water per person. Overall very happy we did this!

Olivier is a very pleasant guide and he takes us directly into the discovery and history of Marseille Thank you again for this pleasant morning
