Fantastic place. We saw over 150 different species of birds, animals and insects in the 4 days. Many of them from the terrace around the area just around the hotel where we, among other things. saw toucans, monkeys, parrots, giant squirrels and a lot of beautiful little birds. And we also reached zipline, canopy-walking, meeting a local tribe and fishing pirate fish (a super nice place). The staff is super sweet and the guides are good at spotting and very knowledgeable about the animals and the area. Transport and the like worked like clockwork. On the downside, there is a lot of noise at night, partly because it is jungle but also because the roof flutters in the wind and there is only a net to take the sound at the top of the room from the other guests. It could be cool with larger selection of snacks / drinks at the bar.

The tour met all our expectations and was a unique experience. The organization was very good. We had an assigned guide for the three days who took care of us and did all the activities with us. Our guide tracked down many animals that we would never have seen on our own. Especially the boat trip on Lake Sandoval with the giant otters was a highlight. We also saw a large blue and yellow macaw there. The lodge is rather simple, but clean and perfectly adequate. There is electricity for a few hours at noon and in the evening. There is also a mosquito net over the beds. There is no WiFi. Unfortunately, there was not always hot water in the shower. The food was Peruvian and delicious, there were also vegetarian options. The activities require an early start (around 4 or 5am) to see the animals. But it's worth it!

We had so much fun in our two night, three day stay! We saw so many animals and we spent lots of time just soaking up the beautiful ambience of the jungle. Please make no mistake that this is not a luxury lodge - no WiFi/cell service, electricity for a few hours and showers temps very hit or miss. However, we felt that this only added to the adventure. Activities were well organized and planned with perfect amounts of time to rest in between. Food was some of the best we’ve had in Peru. Everybody was so kind, and our guide Louis did an amazing job - very knowledgeable. We wish him luck in his studies! I would definitely recommend to my more outdoorsy friends. We were very happy with our experience, especially so affordably.

The guide was great. There wasn't a consistent temperature in the shower, but that was fine. One day we were a bit unnecessarily stressed, which was a shame. But overall it was a great experience.

amazing trip, I saw more in 3 days here than the 5 day tour with maniti expeditions in iquitos
