Day 1: Arrival in Puerto Maldonado - Transfer to Lodge

After getting picked up by your guide and having lunch, head to the river for kayaking accompanied by a motorboat for extra security. Arrive at Monkey Island and appreciate a great diversity of monkeys as they put on a show, swinging through the trees.

Later, return to the lodge and after dinner enjoy a night activity, where you will board a boat and cruise through the Madre de Dios River in search of the jungle caimans.

Day 2: Lake Sandoval - Return to Puerto Maldonado

After breakfast, take a boat to get to the control of the Tambopata National Reserve Zone. After a 1.5-hour walk through the rainforest, reach the famous Sandoval Lake. Be surrounded by ancient trees and entangled vines.

Spot local plants and wildlife, including giant otters, birds, colored butterflies, turtles, and a variety of fish. Spend a few hours in a canoe to fully experience one of the most beautiful lakes in the region.

Return to the lodge and take a boat ride back to Puerto Maldonado, followed by a transfer to the airport or bus station.
