Enjoy one-way transfer from either Chivay or Puno. From Chivay, meet at La Pascana Hotel Esquina del Arco Puente Inca con Siglo XX Nº 106 – Plaza principal de Chivay at 12:45 PM and depart at 1:00 PM. Arrive at the Puno bus terminal at approximately 7:30 PM. For transfers from Puno, you will be picked up at your hotel at 6:00 AM in Puno Downtown and depart at 6:30 AM. You will arrive in Chivay at approximately 12:30 PM and will be dropped off at La Pascana Hotel Esquina del Arco Puente Inca con Siglo XX Nº 106 – Plaza principal de Chivay. Both rides will last approximately six hours.  Along the way, enjoy scenic views of the Andes. You will make some stops along the way to enjoy the views over Patapampa, Pampa Cañahuas, where you will be able to see the beautiful Vicuñas in their natural habitats, as well as the Andean lagoons of Lagunillas.

4. From Cusco: 3-Night Lake Titicaca Excursion

Day 1: Cusco - Puno Meet at the bus terminal in Cusco in the evening and board your overnight bus to Puno, the bus departs from Cusco at 9:30 pm. The address to the terminal is Industrial 550. Day 2: Puno - Uros Floating Islands + Amantani Overnight Stay After a night on the road, arrive in Puno in the morning, around 5:00 am. Transfer to our partner hostel where you can store your luggage for free, while you go on the tour. If you wish to order breakfast, you will be able to do so. At 7:15 am you will be picked to go on the tour. At 8:15 am, you will board the boat to Uros Islands for a guided tour of the famous “floating reed islands”. Around 10:30 am you will cruise the highest navigable lake in the world to the remote Island of Amantani. At 1:30 pm, you will arrive at Amantani, where you will meet your host family as well as check in to the family homestay. There, you will have a typical lunch in the family's house made from natural products. You will be able to do intercultural activities with the local family. Around 4:00 pm, you will have the option to hike up to Pachatata temple to watch the sunset. Dinner is normally served at 7:00 pm, later you can take part in local dance and music or relax and rest in the family's house. Day 3: Llachon Peninsula Typical breakfast in the family house is served at 7:00 am, before the transfer to Llachon Peninsula. Arrival in Llachon Peninsula is approximately at 10:00 am, there witness the seasonal activities of this rural community. You will have free time to enjoy one of the most picturesque locations on Lake Titicaca. Lunch will be served around 12:00 pm. At 1:30 pm, catch the boat back to Puno, arriving around 4:00 pm, you will be dropped off at our partner hostel, a few blocks from the central plaza. Free bag storage, and if you wish to use their facilities for a low price. Pick up from our partner hostel is between 9:00 pm and 9:30 pm, this will be an overnight bus. Day 4: Cusco The bus will arrive in Cusco around 5:00 am, and you will be dropped off at your hotel/hostel.

The tour starts around 14:00 p.m. with the pick up from your hotel in Puno, to board our mobility towards the Chullpas, the trip takes about 40 minutes. Arriving at the complex along with our guide will tour the place for about 1 hour. In an altiplanic, more than 30 kilometers north of Puno, is the Sillustani Chullpas or burial towers of the pre-Inca culture, one of the largest necropolis in the world. The complex is surrounded by a landscape of stunning beauty that seems to be summarized in the serene waters of the Umayo lake, the archaeological complex stands out for its gigantic "chullpas" (kind of stone towers), built by the Collas and Incas, to bury their dead. Many of them are over 12 meters high and have a larger diameter at the top than at the base. A challenge to the laws of gravity and balance, a detail that makes them unique in the continent. Tombs of noble collas, eternal abode of the Sons of the Sun, who when dominating these lands, would add architectural features similar to those of the Temple of the Sun or Coricancha in Cusco. The tour is ending around: 18:00 p.m. with the return to the city of Puno.
