Los Haitises Day Trip We'll pick you up at your hotel in Punta Cana from 6:30 am onwards and set off for Los Haitises National Park, a unique karst landscape bathed by the waters of Samaná Bay. Upon arrival, we'll board a boat and sail along the Caño Hondo River towards San Lorenzo Bay, while looking out for tangles of red mangroves on the shore. In open water, we'll be able to spot rocky mogotes teeming with pelicans and fork-tailed flycatchers. The expedition continues to the Arena and Linea caves, which were once used by the Taíno indigenous people. Inside, we'll see these caves decorated with indigenous pictograms and petroglyphs. Our next stop will be the Caño Hondo Paradise Hotel, where we'll hop off the boat and see beautiful natural pools inside the hotel's grounds. You'll be able to have a refreshing dip in the Jivales River before having a traditional Dominican lunch, which we'll eat in this idyllic spot. With our energy back, we'll get into a jeep and head to the summit of Redonda mountain, which is nestled between two lagoons: Limón and Redonda. From the top, the views of the jungle will look like something out of a fairy tale. Finally, we'll return to the mainland and head back to Punta Cana, where we'll arrive at your hotel between 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm.

Fly through the air in a zip lining course in the Dominican Republic's lush tropical jungle! Visit the first zip-line course on the island. After a 45 minute drive onboard a safari truck transportation, you will be entering a whole new dimension of entertainment. Samaná is a peninsula located on the northeast coast of the Dominican Republic. Full of incredible landscapes and pure nature, it is a member of the World's Most Beautiful Bays Club of UNESCO as well as having been classified as a World Eco-Tourism Paradise. Each year between the months of February and March over 3,500 humpback whales mate in the warm coastal waters just off of the coast of the peninsula. Your tour begins with a boat trip from Miches to the Bay of Samaná, accompanied by a beautiful view. After arriving to your location, you will embark on a horseback trek to the majestic 50-meter high Lemon waterfall, which contains a beautiful natural pool below and is surrounded by lush tropical forest. Following your waterfall tour, you will head on a city tour atop a safari truck through the city of Samaná. Discovered by the navigator Christopher Columbus in 1493, this was the point in which the first hostile meeting between Europeans and natives occurred. Following your city tour, you will sit down for a Dominican buffet lunch in a field restaurant, where you can indulge in a tasting of tropical fruits harvested in the area. After lunch, you will be taken in the safari truck back to the dock, after which you will head to Cayo Levantado or "Bacardi Island". After arriving at this 1-kilometer long island, you can enjoy some refreshing free time on its beautiful beaches complete with clear turquoise water. After this free time, you will be ferried back to the mainland before being dropped off back at your accommodation.

Benefit from hotel pickup in the areas of Punta Cana, Bavaro, Uvero Alto, and Bayahibe, and then experience the amazing countryside of the Dominican Republic from multiple perspectives. Journey along rural roads and get endless photo opportunities. Start with about an hour's drive along El Seybo Highway from Bavaro to Miches. Head to the dock to board a speedboat to Santa Bárbara de Samaná. On arrival, climb aboard a safari-style truck, and travel to El Limón. Visit an island house and sample native and organic fruits from the plantation. Continue to the majestic El Limón Waterfall with a short ride through the tropical forest by horse. Get a unique view of the crystal clear waters from the mountain before saying farewell to the horses and hiking alongside the river to take a refreshing dip in the waterfall. Replenish with a typical buffet-style meal at Rancho Tipico and enjoy a short rest before going back to the dock in Samaná. Travel to Bacardi Island or Cayo Levantado by speedboat and bathe in the turquoise waters on arrival. Then, board your speedboat for one last trip to Miches, where a bus will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.

This experience has adventure stamped all over it. Off-road buggy or safari truck rides, traditional Taino ceremonies, and swimming in underground pools make for an adrenaline-pumping evening from Punta Cana. Juan, one of our local guides, says ‘Caves and cenotes played an important role in the indigenous Taino culture. Despite looking so tempting with their cool aquamarine water, the Taino people never swam in the cenotes or used the water because of their belief that they were a gateway to the underworld.' Plus, you'll enjoy a Dominican dinner and an open bar followed by live music and dancing around a bonfire. To kick off your all-action evening, you'll power through the Dominican countryside, zoom along dirt tracks and watch as the landscape transforms from day to night. Guided by torchlight, you'll continue your journey to take a swim in a natural cave pool, known as a cenote, with atmospheric lighting. And if you choose the safari truck option, you'll also get to visit the eerie depths of Yara Cave. With flaming torches lighting the way, you'll make your way back to the base for a well-earned drink and a tasty dinner of local cuisine. The restaurant staff prides themselves on creating classic Dominican dishes, freshly prepared with seasonal produce from the island. Rounding off the evening is a traditional Taino dance show and the chance to join in with a boogie around the bonfire or enjoy the open bar under the stars.

Ride in an impressive truck from your hotel to the Punta Cana area. During the drive, your guide will educate you about the city and the country. Visit a typical Dominican house, learn about when it was built and spend some time with the welcoming family that lives there. Visit the coffee and cacao plantations. This ecological stop will begin with a short walk through the plantations, where the vegetation is so abundant that the sunlight can barely penetrate.
