Visit an island house and sample native and organic fruits from the plantation. Continue to the majestic El Limón Waterfall with a short ride through the tropical forest by horse. From the Palace, the tour will go through the historic Plaza de Espana and on to Calle Las Damas (the first paved street in the New World). Keep walking to the National Pantheon where heroes were laid to rest. The colonial tour will culminate at the First Cathedral of the New World.

After your visit to Higuey, you will be driven to Bavaro where you will visit some shop so you can buy souvenirs for your friends and relatives. Once you finish shopping, it is time to go back to your hotel.

Begin your day early in the morning with pickup at your accommodation in Punta Cana/Bávaro, Uvero Alto or Bayahibe. Head over to Punta Cana Airport, then fly to Arroyo Barril Airport in Samana. Enjoy drinks and snacks during the approximately 35-minute flight. Upon arrival in Samana, you'll be transported to the ship that will take you to Samana Bay for the sighting of humpback whales. Admire these magnificent animals in their natural habitat during whale season from January 14 to March 31. After whale watching, enjoy lunch in Cayo Levantado and relax on the beach for the rest of the day. After a wonderful day in Samana, begin to head back to Samana Airport for your return flight to Punta Cana. When you arrive at Punta Cana Airport, your bus driver will be waiting for you to take you back to your accommodation.

It is a cosmopolitan and vibrant city, with a deep historical past associated with the conquest of the Americas. Located south of the island, the city is washed by the waves and breezes of the Caribbean Sea. The Colonial Zone, declared a Common Heritage of Humanity by Unesco, includes the oldest buildings created by the Spaniards as the first administrative offices, or the first cathedral in the new world. You can explore the colonial zone your way, with your guides designing a unique path for you, allowing you to save some time for shopping later. When lunch time approaches, you will be able to eat “La Bandera” in a typical restaurant. La Bandera is a national dish in the Dominican Republic, consisting of rice, beans, stewed meat, avocado, and fried plantain. As the afternoon closes in, you will depart to the airport to take off to Punta Cana.
