Day 1: Start with pickup from your hotel in Hanoi at 8:00-8:30 AM and transfer to Halong Bay. Receive a welcome drink and a cruise briefing before departure. It was a great trip. Our guide Son (I hope I have spelled his name correctly) was very knowledgeable and his command of English was very good. He talked about Halong Bay telling us some interesting facts. First we stopped of at the place where they were cultivating pearls, then we got on the boat to Halong Bay starting first with lunch. We sailed passing by few landmarks such as Fighting cocks. Then we had 40mins for kayaking and then we visited Dong Thien Cung cave.

We really enjoyed our trip! The day before, we got a message asking if we would like an upgrade to Wonderbay. We said yes and glad we did. We meet great people and the activities we fun. Buffet lunch was good!
