So fun, entertaining & knowledgable. The food tastings were definitely the high light for us though. Four stops with delicious tastings, super generous for the price. The guide also keeps the conversations going naturally making it a comfortable and enjoyable evening. Would recommend to anyone visiting Quebec City!

This tour was really great. Our guide, Chantal, was fun, enthusiastic, and very knowledgeable. She was dressed in period costume and guided our small group as Marie Rollet (recognized as the first female French farmer and teacher in Quebec, alongside her husband Louis Hébert). I'm from Boston and see these sorts of groups all the time, trailing after some over-heated grad student dressed as one founding father or another. I usually roll my eyes, but Chatal's tour makes me reconsider my cynicism. We learned a lot about the settlement of the area and tasted delicious food in three really good restaurants (all distinct from each other in their approach to cuisine and formality) plus a final stop for maple gelato near the Chateau Frontenac. Chantal's genuine love of Quebec and its history were evident in her presentation. Wear comfortable shoes - she moves up and down the hills at a fast clip! I heartily recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful time as our guide took the part of the first French settler coming over with her husband. The tour was an enjoyable combination of history and yummy snacks. Moreover, my friend lost her glasses at one of the sites, and our guide was diligent in retracing our steps and calling to see if the glasses could be found.
