I had a great time paragliding with Skytreck! It was my first time paragliding and I can’t recommend it more! Skytreck was very organized and efficient and I felt very safe the whole time. You meet at their office in downtown Queenstown, and then they bus you to the take off spot which is about a 15 minute drive. The take off is at one of the ski resorts and is the highest launch point on New Zealand! But because it is in land from the lake, you will NOT be paragliding right over the main downtown area and the lake, instead you are further inland from the lake. But of course you still get gorgeous views of the mountains and lake. The total flight time is about 12-15 minutes. The entire experience is about 1.5-2 hours.
Everything was amazing. The TSS Earnslaw cruise is unforgettable. The Gourmet BBQ was extraordinary. The quality of the food was superb. We also enjoyed the Farm show. I need to mention the entertainer, the guitarist, was very good and friendly. Everything was perfect. Thank you all.
The whole experience was amazing. Our coach driver was very pleasant and very informative about the whole area. The cruise was magical and the scenery was just so magical. The commentary on board the cruise was very informative. We totally enjoyed the whole experience.
The time spent on top of the mountain while moving to Milford Sound was short but intense~^^
