REI Co-op Adventure Center – Arizona provides guided full and half-day rafting, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, hiking, and biking tours in the Scottsdale and Phoenix area to over 8,000 guests each year. Our focus is always on creating a tour experience for our guests that is both fun and educational. Rafting, Kayaking, and Paddle Boarding on our Class I (easiest rating) guided river tours creates the ultimate in fun under the desert sun. Swim and water fight or just relax and soak in the scenery - our most family friendly activities have options to please everyone. A guided hike is the most intimate and educational way to experience the desert. You’ll enjoy an up close and personal look at the elements that comprise the Sonoran Desert. Our hikes are more than a simple nature walk; they are designed so that individuals of modest fitness levels as well as more active participants will enjoy themselves. All of our trails have been chosen not only for their scenic beauty but also their accessibility, safety, and low volume of visitors.
