    Discover the beauty surrounding Rethymno as you head uphill through picturesque olive groves and make the first stop at Halevi Monastery. See the church of Panagia with its flame-shaped windows and the ruin of the monastery building, which was recently renovated. Continue to the village of Chromonastiri and visit Villa Clodio where the Military Museum is housed. As you reach the Myli Gorge, a small oasis close to the city, set out on a short hike through a gorge with diverse flora and fauna and visit the abandoned village of Myli.  Stop and relax in the Cretan village of Roussospiti and be spoiled with a selection of traditional dishes from a family run taverna. Due to the elevated location you will have a breathtaking panoramic view over Rethymno and the Mediterranean coast. After lunch, ride to the monastery of Aghia Irini to talk to the nuns there and learn more about the history of this place before slowly starting your way back.

    Wonderful trip to Myli Gorge with Michalis. One of the best days of my holiday. Lovely to feel the breeze while spinning along on an ebike. Hugely enthusiastic, knowledgeable, kind and fun guide. Learned about Cretan history and olive oil production. Saw the equipment used to press the olives. Includes a short hike and delicious Cretan lunch. Highly recommend.

    This e-bike tour was definitely one of the highlights of my holiday in Crete. We were brought to the hills surrounding Rethymno, the Milis Gorges, the local olive oil museum and a monastery with beautiful view for a total of 20km ride spread in 6 hours. The host was amazing, providing not only helpful advise on how to best get familiar with e-bikes but also telling stories about the local culture and traditions. It was a unique experience, which you can only have when locals show your around. We also had a stop at a coffee in the middle of the Gorges and had lunch in a local taverna, where food was delicious with lots of vegetarian and vegan options (best would be to specify it in advance but also on spot they will surely not leave you hungry!). I went together with my boyfriend and it was perfect as couple activity but also for solo travelers or small groups. The path was not tiring at all and the e-bikes provided great help during uphills. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Crete!

    We were warmly welcomed by Michaelis and his wife. After a short introduction to the bikes the adventure began. The tour was very varied with lots of stops at interesting and beautiful local places and also personal stories from Michaelis. He is a very experienced and passionate guide, who always has a smile on his face and can give many insider tips for further holiday trips. All in all it was such a nice and fun trip with great impressions, views and a delicious lunch that some days later we've booked the next trip there - the advanced trip to Patsos gorge :) Many greetings from Berlin, Mandy and Michael
