Full description

Enjoy a safe and reliable transfer between Reykjavík City Centre and the world-famous Blue Lagoon, while also getting the opportunity of selecting between the Comfort Package or the Premium Package.

Experience the tranquility of the unique Geothermal Milky Blue Sea waters, considered by many to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience and an unmissable part of your Iceland Holiday. There are frequent departures to and from Reykjavik allowing you to explore on your own time.

The Blue Lagoon was formed in 1976 during an operation at the nearby geothermal power plant. In the years that followed, people began to bathe in the water and apply the silica mud to their skin. It’s known for its restorative qualities and health benefits.

The Blue Lagoon is surrounded by a mossy lava field, offering incredible scenery, with state-of-the-art facilities and an other-worldly atmosphere.

Choose between two different packages available and take some time to relax. Afterward, return to Reykjavík. Your return ticket is flexible/open and can be used for all departures from the Blue Lagoon.

Loved the Blue Lagoon. My only regret/complaint was the transportation times as we would have liked to stay longer. They do a great job with the buses otherwise and it’s a very smooth process. Blue Lagoon is magical and a must do while in Iceland. (I do like Sky Lagoon better but I would definitely do Blue Lagoon again!)

Our transfer started from the BSI bus terminal, where we unfortunately had to walk first. The bus driver was very nice and luckily for us the big bus wasn't full. When we arrived it was quick to go in. There is also a screen at the top with an explainer video, which I unfortunately discovered too late. You then get a great bracelet with an integrated chip for payment and a locker, which didn't bother at all and looked pretty. Men and women are then separated and easily find each other after changing rooms and showers. Unfortunately, there weren't bathrobes for everyone, which wasn't that pleasant, since towels were only given after leaving. The water was much too warm for my girlfriend, I found it very pleasant. Luckily we found a slightly cooler spot. What really bothered us were the people taking photos! The showers were clean and well equipped. The return transfer was great, it was even possible to be dropped off somewhere other than the terminal.

It was so surreal and unique! My husband and I agreed it was one of those places that the pictures you see before hand actually live up to expectations. I was surprised at how enjoyable it was not only for me but also for our 7 and 10 year olds. A nice first day activity to ease into the new time zone with jet lag for everyone.
