What people are saying about Rhine Neckar Area
Francesca was our guide. She was so knowledgeable and interesting to listen to; obviously very passionate about Heidelberg (having moved there from Italy 11 years ago) and this was conveyed through her tour. She is softly spoken and very easy to listen to. It was lovely that there were only 3 of us on the English speaking tour, so a very intimate feel. The tour was supposed to last 1.5 hours but ended up being 2 hours, Francesca obviously wanted to give us as much information as possible. Highly recommended, and even better if you get Francesca!
Our guide was Olga and she was phenomenal! She was incredibly knowledgeable and full of energy. She has a wonderful personality and her Enthusiasm really showed through. If she may have given this to her a 100 times or a 1000 times but she was incredibly enthusiastic and really made it a nice personal experience. Ours was an English tour but I understand that Olga It is also fluent in German and Russian and may be other languages. At the end of the tour we really hated to see her go. I wish we had not run out of things to learn about :)
Our guide George and the driver Nicko (if i'm not mistaken) is awesome! He told us a lot of story and history about the church, palace, about the wine cellar and also about frankfurt. He is very generous too and can suggest you best spot for a picture. Free time is also enough, not too short and not too long. You should look for George as your tour guide if you want to take this tour. Don't forget to give some tips too for appreciation
Had a wonderful day trip with our guide Micheal and driver Nico. Michael kept us busy with his narration about the history of Frankfurt, Heidelberg and Germany in general (including details about the architecture, culture, arts, technology and more). Once in Heidelberg we had a tour of the castle and the apothecary museum, and then we were given a free time to explore on our own. Highly recommended!
It was a great tour with a very friendly guide who showed us the most important sights and who told us interesting facts about the city.
