We'll meet you at a convenient point, pick up some comfotable bikes and head off to explore the city. The Moscow suburb awaits, an area of the city full of history and the site of the Jewish ghetto during the Nazi occupation. Its decaying wooden houses stand in sharp contrast to the gloss of the Old Town or the splendour of the Art Nouveau buildings. We'll ride through the heart of Riga, where most Ridzenieki (the people of Riga) like to hang out, and on to the Great Cemetery, now a strange mix of graveyard and park, before returning to our starting point.  This is a great way to see Riga, get some exercise, help the environment and learn more about what the city is like today, and how it got this way. What people are saying about Riga

This was a breathtaking way to get out of Riga and see more of the real Latvia. The tour includes 3 stops: 1. a walkway in and out of a forest through bogs and wetlands; 2. a walkway amongst marshes; and 3. a trip past pine trees and dunes to the beach. Stops 1 and 2 include stunning views from vantage towers. We visited in December 2022 and, although snow had started to melt and stop 1 was rainy, by the time we reached stop 3, the sky had broken, providing stunning views of the sky, beach and sea. Our guide, Rolands, is a biologist and conservationist, whose passion and knowledge of the area and of Latvian culture and history was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for him and I can honestly say he’s the best tour guide I’ve ever encountered. He provided details the day before as well as food and drinks on the day, and was happy to take pics of my wife and I to capture memories. We will definitely do another tour in Latvia and look forward to Rolands being our guide again.

We had a fantastic guide sorry could cath his name. He was very informative telling us local information about the areas as we padt the. He informed us about the pune forest and the karch growth as well as local foraging. we went to Rundale Palace where he showed around the rooms and told us about the garden. We even had coffee with him. After that went on to the Hill of Crosses which was very moving and as it was snowing was so eriery. Not a lot of wind so couldn't hear the crosses moving.

Ava was professional and knowledgeable about Latvian history and culture. She was also very personable and made for a great tour of Old Town Riga. Would recommend this tour especially if it’s your first time in Riga.

Muy buena experiencia, el recorrido precioso, el barco muy chulo y el guía super agradable.

Really nice experience, took us through the city in a funny way. Totally worth the money.
