Watch as the lock below is turned and the boat turns around to continue the journey. Choose between a melange, hot chocolate, or a tea, then find a seat to admire the view. The ship embarks on a great Danube cruise where you circle the 2nd and 20th district of Vienna. Enjoy the Viennese scenery on this Danube River cruise with shorter and longer options available as well as the opportunity to try some typical Viennese cuisine. Admire 'modern Vienna' and 'green Vienna' as a part of the longer tour option or simply discover 'modern Vienna' on the shorter cruise. Enjoy views of ‘modern Vienna’ with the Danube plateau skyline, Danube Tower, and Millennium Tower. Travel via the Nussdorf lock system to reach the Danube Canal. Admire the architecture of the Hundertwasser-designed heating plant in Spittelau, the Roßau Barracks, and Ringturm. Make a short stop at the Vienna/City station at Schwedenplatz. Here, the shorter tour comes to an end. If you have selected the longer option, continue toward the green heart of Vienna and the woods of the Prater area. Sail downstream from the Freudenau Lock, past the shores of Danube Island, and past a grain silo that has been converted into a hotel and a stadium. Then, return to Reichsbrücke, where the extended tour comes to an end.

Take a boat trip through Vienna, beginning and ending at Schwedenplatz. During the sightseeing cruise, enjoy a light and modern lunch dish aboard the MS Blue Danube. The menu consists of 2 courses, a soup or appetizer/starter and main course; or a main course and a dessert. For all menus, you can have either the starter or dessert. Winter Menu (December 1, 2019 to February 29, 2020): Starter - • Garlic cream soup with croutons  Main - • Beef roast in a creamy sauce with a dumpling  or • Pumpkin risotto with parmesan Dessert - •  Speculaas parfait Spring Menu (March 2, 2020 to May 31, 2020) Starter - • Wild garlic cream soup Main - • Cevapcici with tomato rice or • Tuna strudel with harissa fisoles and egg Dessert -  • Curd poppy seed cream with plum roaster Summer Menu (June 1, 2020 to August 31, 2020): Starter -  • Asparagus soup with sheep's cheese croutons Main -  • Pork chops with letscho and fries or • Gnocchi alla carbonara Dessert - • Yoghurt and mango parfait with honey and pistachios  Autumn Menu (September 1, 2020 to November 30, 2020): Starter -  • Chestnut soup Main -  • Pork medallions with pumpkin or • Gnocchi with pumpkin sauce  Dessert - • Apple tiramisu in a glass If someone is vegan or vegetarian, they can choose a main dish from the general menu. Allergy sufferers must be announced in advance, then an alternative is accordingly prepared. The menu is changed every season. You will cruise on a loop trip starting at the Schiffsstation Wien/City on Schwedenplatz the Danube Canal. On this tour you will see important buildings such as: Uniqa Tower, Urania Observatory, Badeschiff, the hotel and commercial building of Jean Nouvel, Schützenhaus of Otto Wagner, Ringturm, Roßauer barracks, and the Zaha Hadid House designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser. The MS Blue Danube impresses with nautical flair and extravagant interior design and is also air conditioned. Free leaflets with map and short descriptions in 10 languages are on board, and GPS-based information about the sights is displayed on the screens.

Very quiet and comfortable ride, you can see the Hunderwasserhaus when it's still light, on the way back it was dark and the view is no longer there. Nevertheless, very nice and very comfortable.

Very nice experience, the boat was really nice and clean. The service impeccable and the food good as well.
