Set sail from Marina da Glória and pass by 3 fortresses — São José, Lage, and Santa Cruz — on your way to Boa Viagem Island in Niterói. Cruise past Oscar Niemeyer's striking Niterói Museum of Contemporary Art and enjoy the views in Guanabara Bay. Then, sit back and appreciate the sunset over the city of Rio de Janeiro. Delight in scenic views of the city's most famous landmarks, such as Sugar Loaf Mountain and Christ the Redeemer, as the sun sets on the horizon. Throughout the tour, relax with drinks on board, such as the famous Brazilian cocktail Caipirinha, beer, and sparkling white wine. The tour concludes back at the marina in Glória. With beautiful weather we had a recommendable tour. It started on time at the meeting point. A nice crew greeted us and off we went to sea. Various drinks were offered and little by little there were snacks (please eat something yourself beforehand, because it's not much). It was held in between for bathing and there were some explanations about Rio. A gorgeous sunset ended the trip.

What a great experience, though there was no sailing John and our captain provided an excellent round trip surrounded by the beauty of Rio. When we weren't nibbling on the snacks and drinks, John was able to provide a mini history breakdown which I truly appreciated. Definitely worth the experience.

This is a must do trip whilst in Rio. You get to see the famous sights from a different angle whilst enjoying freshly prepared drinks and soaking up the late afternoon sun. What really made the trip special though, were our wonderful guides, John & Tainà, who made us all feel like friends.
