5 things to bring on a Seine river cruise

The Seine might be one of the world's most scenic urban rivers, flanked by exquisite monuments such as Notre Dame and the Arc de Triomphe. A cruise is the best way to enjoy it as long as you don't forget anything essential! Here's what to pack.

  • Windproof jacket

    1. Windproof jacket

Even if all's calm on the City of Love's streets, its river is exposed and highly susceptible to strong winds. Even in summer you might need a good jacket!

  • Sun screen

    2. Sun screen

Again, the Seine is exposed and so are you. If you're not seeing the sights by night, you'll want to see them on a sunny day. Keep yourself protected!

  • Camera

    3. Camera

Many of Paris' most famous sights can be seen by boat, opening the door to some fantastic photo opportunities. If you have them, enhance the experience by bringing binoculars too!

  • Sandwiches

    4. Sandwiches

Unless you're taking a dinner cruise of course! But even then you should think about bringing your own water bottle.

  • Somebody you love

It was a really a good idea to go with bus tour especially with kids and take a look on almost all beautiful sightseeing in Paris. It is worth the price. My ticket last for 24 hours from the time I exchange online ticket which is mandatory to do it at ticket office (meeting point) so you can use it whole day even in next day but depends on time. e.g., my ticket start at 12:30 p.m so valid until next day on bus leaving at 12:30 p.m. Keep in mind it is not easy to park your stroller (kinder-wagon) especially double stroller in every bus. Some buses have dedicate place but some not.

Very nice tour. The Eiffel tower at night is worth a visit. From the cruise, the city looks so beautiful at night. It ended up to be a very romantic cruise. The big full moon was just a cherry on the top. Don't forget to bring a charged smartphone with headphones.

Our guide Sofiane was superb. The 8h45 slot was also great, as we were able to avoid the crowd and still enjoy the rest of the day.

Excelente, solo que hay que estar pendiente del punto de encuentro. La guía que nos tocó en español, lo mejor!!

I enjoyed it very much! It was nice to see Paris from another point of view! I loved it!
