Travel back in time as you explore the Mayan  archeological ruins of Chichén Itzá on a guided tour. Connect with nature as you swim in the azure waters of the cenote of Saamal. Eat a mouth-watering buffet lunch and take a guided walking tour of Valladolid.

Benefit from pick-up at your hotel, or a nearby meeting point, and then journey to one of the most important monuments on the Yucatán Peninsula.   Upon arrival at Chichén Itzá, look at the step pyramid of Kukulcan (El Castillo), known for the play of light from the equinox that casts shadows on each step to create an image of a serpent descending.   Go to the ancient cenote of Saamal and experience one of the sinkholes that form part of a network of underground rivers sacred to the Maya people. Enjoy a delicious buffet meal and take a stroll around the colonial city of Valladolid to complete your experience.

Great trip where you can see a lot in just one day but on the other hand it is very time scheduled. You have always some time to experience the 3 locations by your own and take pictures. Especially the tour guide Cesar was great. He speaks very good English and can teach you a lot about the Maya culture at Chichen Itza and provides you lot of useful information during the tour. I can hardly recommend this tour and the tour guide Cesar. Pick up and save transfer back to the hotel was good thanks to the nice and happy bus driver Manuel!

This trip was well worth the money. Ruth was our guide and she was so friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about Mayan culture. Chichen Itza is a beautiful place, but it is very open and hot there so don't forget your hats and suncream! The Cenote is absolutely stunning, everything is provided and the lunch was delishious. From there valladolid is a beautiful little stop off. But it is just that, a small 30 minute stop off. We had marquesitas and a little walk around the square but thats all there is time for. Also got some tequila tasting in too which was an added little bonus (much nicer than what they're servicing in the resorts). Ruth was a brilliant guide and had so much information about Mayan culture, folklore and traditions. She kept everything on shedule and very professional and attentive. All in all a perfect day learning all about Mexican history and experiencing some beautiful sights! Go on this trip, you won't regret it.

We had a great time in this excursion. Pick up from the hotel was seamless and the coach was comfortable. Alan, our guide was superb. He was informative and funny and kept everyone engaged. There was a some time before heading into chichen itza to get a snack as most people had not eaten at hotels due to the early start. The tour was great then on to the cenote which was a welcome break from the heat! The food there was average - keep in mind that lunch is quite late so take snacks! Water was provided on the trip which was great. Stop is Valladolid was brief but enjoyable, just wish there was more time! Highly recommend this trip
