Our tour guides were Alfredo, called Fredi and Jesus... Hours of travel, which could have been managed in a much shorter time. We were picked up at 6.50am and were supposed to be home by 7pm... but didn't get to the hotel until 9.40pm. This trip was just like a sales trip: first in Playa del Carmen in a larger department store, then a gentleman got on the bus with some homemade honey schnapps and advertised it. Later, at lunch, we had to go back to a department store, where the tour guide's so-called friends had - according to him - good quality etc. at really good prices... but in reality these prices were very overpriced. In Valladolid we should get off in total pouring rain because supposedly there is soooo good ice cream to buy there... and food in certain shops which the tour guide again suggested... very transparent that the RL only with the commissions of the dealers for wanted to work.
