Full description
South Shore's new 1.5-kilometer stretch of eco-walkways and 8 suspension bridges make for a one-of-a-kind eco-tour on Roatan Island. Each suspension bridge is 4 feet wide and has a capacity of 10 people. The bridges vary in length from 150 feet to 200 feet, making them the longest and strongest bridges in the Western Caribbean. There are concrete walkways with wooden steps and handrails. On this half-day adventure, you’ll begin with a leisurely walk through the jungle, keeping an eye out for birds, lizards, iguanas, and admiring the Tarzan vines, tropical flowers, and fruit and nut trees. After your eco-walk you’ll head to the zip lines. Feel the wind through your hair as you fly through the canopies! Finally, you’ll have a couple of hours to kick back, relax, and enjoy the sun, sand, and sea at the beautiful sand beach.

The zip line was fantastic. We had the advantage that we were two. I found it quite exciting, but you are being guided so well and professionally that I was quickly reassured. Then I really enjoyed it. There are 11 in total. The eco walk was fine but I expected that I would also see animals. That is not the case. It's about the plants and what you can do with them. You walk across a number of suspension bridges through the jungle. Then you go to a nice and cozy beach. There are beds reserved for you. We really enjoyed it there and were pleasantly surprised. All in all a very successful day.

Interesting visit to the jungle, the zip line ride included 11 individual zip lines that crisscrossed the jungle. You could slide individually or in tandem with one of the guides. By the way, we were alone, each with a guide. The beach stay was also great, acquaintances from the ship only visited this beach and paid here alone 20, - € per person. Was the best trip during the whole tour, very good value for money!

Was a very good trip. Especially the Ecowalk is highly recommended! Which was just a bit of a hassle that every employee wanted a tip and this was always said.
