The tour was well organized. We were welcomed at the bus terminal and guided to our respective bus. In Rome a guide walked us to the hop-on-hop-off bus. The buses were reliable and at each stop was also a guide assisting with information. The trip was worth taking.

Give yourself a lot of time to get back. Rome is very crowded and has a lot of traffic. We were aiming to return on the 3:30pm bus, there was so much traffic, we didn't make it and had to take the 4:00pm bus back to the port. The bus was a little difficult to find, this is a good route if you like or don't mind walking

Since we were on a cruise our time on land was limited. I believe we had about 8 hours. This was a great tour because they showed you where everything was around the city and you could hop off where you wanted and not have to do everything as a group. There were marked bus stops around the city so you knew where you could be picked up and dropped off if you decided to walk around on your own. I would definitely recommend and possibly do again if I return to Rome.
