Enter a time capsule of the ancient Roman world. Let your local expert guide give you a tour of these marvelously-preserved ruins. Go to Positano, where the houses tumble down the hillside and stroll among the boutique stores. Purchase some of the local limoncello liqueur, visit the Church of Santa Maria Assunta or people watch from a restaurant terrace. Absolutely Excellent!! Vivianna, Paola, Stephano (driver), were all the Very Best!! So Very helpful, friendly and informative. So kind!! Viviana even walked me to my correct street when the tour was over. And, Paulo took me ‘under her wing’ for lunch and rejoining directions. I truly appreciated All their help and intelligent advice. Top notch tour. Our guide was funny and very informative of anything we asked or wanted to know. If you have an extra day in Rome, this is a great way to see Pompeii and Amalfi. It’s a full day tour (around 12 hours) but definitely worth it for the views and not having to drive yourself along the highly dangerous roads leading down to Amalfi.

The tour of the ancient Pompeii was very informative and interesting. The drive along the Amalfi Coast was very scenic. Positano is a charming town, but it would be better if the company informed us that it would be a 20-30 minute descending/ascending walk to the beach and back to the main street. We were therefore in a hurry to eat lunch so that we could make it back to the meeting point in time. I think it is not an enjoyable walk for the not-so-fit people.
