You will be picked up from your accommodation in Rome by your English-speaking driver. On the way enjoy a buffalo mozzarella tasting in a specialized buffalo mozzarella store in the countryside. You will also enjoy a tasting of some of the best Limoncello in the region.
Enjoy the scenic drive along the coast as you head to Sorrento. Experience the wonderful landscapes and stop to take some pictures along the way. While in Sorrento, feel free to visit the main sites of the city, go for some shopping or just enjoy your free time. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant, at your own expense.
Next, visit Pompeii Ruins on your own or with a tour guide (upgradeable at an additional cost). Pompeii was an ancient Roman town near modern Naples, where the regular citizens went on vacation. Pompeii, along with many ancient towns in the surrounding area, was mostly destroyed and buried under 4 to 6 meters (13 to 20 ft) of volcanic ash and pumice during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.
