Guide Hildegard was really awesome. Extremely interesting tour with a lot of knowledge, but by no means boring! The only drawback: we didn't go into the arena of the Colosseum, contrary to the description, but "only" to the grandstands and to the imperial box. But that didn't detract from the experience.

Very difficult to find the right company in that meeting spot. You basically have to ask around people carrying flags if you were booked under them… We were apologetically late for our 2pm booking as we had arrived at 2.10pm and the local vendor informed us that the guide had left and she could only reschedule us to 10am sharp the next day. We arrived at 10am, the local vendor passed us to the guide who couldn’t find our names but we were told to wait, we waited to 10.30am and were finally scheduled to go with the group at 10.30am with Maria.

Laura was a very good guide. The audio systems didn’t cooperate as well as desired but she did an excellent job compensating as much as possible. The day was a brilliant one - technology and ancient history mat not always mix well. Thank goodness for the human connector - Laura
