      Take this tour your first or second day in Rome!!!

      This was my second Trionfale Food Tour! It was just as engaging and informative as the first time we took this tour in July 2016 with Laluca. I would recommend taking this tour your first or second day in Rome so that you can apply what you learn on this tour to the remainder of your visit!!

      This was an amazing food tour and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to try a huge selection of Italian food. Do not eat before because you will be provided with so many types of food plus beverages. We learnt a lot about the regions where the food and wine was made and how to identify certain specifications about what to order and buy. Our guide was great, engaging and funny which made the time fly by. We were a group of 11 family members and everyone mentioned that it has been a highlight of their time in Rome.

      Interesting tour, but far too expensive at € 80 / person.

      Food and Rome, of course, always sounds good. We were a group of four with a very nice guide. We would probably never have ended up in the Prati neighborhood without this tour. All in all, we ate canoli (which were great), pizza (small pieces, but also very good), balsamic and cheese tasting (a feeling of a sales event came up, but was not forced), a visit to the market with aubergine baked on top (just so-so), ham -Tasting (ok), small portion of mozzarella with tomatoes (delicious), gnocchi drowned in cheese (terrible, especially after the advance notice), boring ravioli, a touch of squid (the alternative was ridiculous: a loveless little salad), 2 mini balls - therefor really very good ice cream. So for € 80 / person you can really eat better, especially in Rome. The nice and competent guide gave everything, but there is a "good" rating. Still, we found it just too expensive and there are far more interesting areas in Rome to stroll through.
