Join a small group or a private tour to enjoy a culinary journey through the historic center of Rome, starting with a traditional Italian espresso or cappuccino and a cornetto or other traditional sweet breakfast option, while learning about The history of Italian coffee. Walk the busy streets of Rome discovering its food culture and taking a peek in a number of traditional food shops. Slowly work your way through bakeries and delis to sample famous cheese, pizza al taglio, and fresh produce. Explore Campo de' Fiori, the site of one of the most ancient markets of Rome with your local guide. Continue your food adventure on locally run food avenues near the ancient Field of Mars, tasting gelato, patisserie, bread, cold-cut pizza, and cheese. Follow your guide to the Jewish Ghetto to learn about the famous Roman-Jewish cuisine. Make a stop in the Jewish Ghetto to fully appreciate this century-long culinary tradition. Depending on the day of the week, and in accordance with Jewish celebrations, we may end our tour here, at a local trattoria sharing appetizers accompanied by a glass of wine.
