Full description

See the highlights of Rome under the light of the night sky on an open-top double-decker bus tour. Drive by the city's most iconic landmarks, including the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, Circus Maximus, and the Colosseum, and stop for a bite to eat at Eataly, an Italian food hall/grocery store.

Hop on board the bus at Termini station just as the sun is beginning to set. Pass through the historical center and watch as the night sky illuminates the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and the Pyramid of Cestius. Listen to the onboard audio guide to learn more about the history of each location.

Stop for a break at the Eataly food hall. Enjoy some free time to grab a bite to eat or pick up some fresh Italian produce from one of the stalls. Choose whether to enjoy a pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven or sit down at Terra, the new restaurant, with its 3-meter handmade grill.

Refreshed and refueled, hop back on the bus to continue your sightseeing. Pass by landmarks like Circus Maximus, Piazza Venezia, and Saint Angelo Castle. You will also drive through the charming square of Piazza Barberini and Via Veneto before ending outside the Colosseum.

Rome is really beautiful at night! The stop at Eataly was a bit rushed and it was a bit unsettling to be informed that we will be seated with strangers for dinner without any previous notice, when the restaurant obviously had a lot of space. Still a good tour to take though! Appreciate our guide!

The night tour was nice because it's a different mood at dusk. However, exactly what is played on the bus is also played during the Hopon-Hophoff tour. The stop at Eataly is actually too short to really get anything out of it and a lot of the gastronomy was already closed for us.

First we went to Eataly. There you have 1 1/2 hours to eat or to explore the shopping building. There are 2 restaurants where you get a starter, a main course plus a large water for 12 euros through the tour. (There are about 4 meals per restaurant to choose from). But you can also explore the shopping center on your own. We ate at one of the specified restaurants. Everyone who chose the restaurant from the tour sat together at a table. Since there weren't many people with us, this wasn't a problem. Unfortunately, after the meal we only had 10 minutes to explore the Eataly. So if you are more interested in the Italian specialties, you should eat before the tour so that you have enough time in Eataly. At 21:30 we continued on time. We drove around Rome for 1 hour and 15 minutes with audio guide. The tour ended at 10:45 p.m. The staff was very friendly. We really enjoyed the tour
