Started off with a glass of Prosecco. We made tiramisu and pasta from scratch. The instructor showed us how to make the carbonara and cacio de Pepe sauce. Afterwards we ate the pastas with a glass of red wine and finished off with the tiramisu and a limoncello. Wish Class was more hands on and interactive. We assembled the tiramisu and watched the instructor make the sauces. But didn’t actually get to make it ourselves. The venue was on the smaller side, not much character. Air conditioner not strong enough; it was so hot one of the participants had to take a break due to heat.

It was a lot of fun. It was entertaining, you can meet new people and questions were always answered in detail. Unfortunately, it wasn't always kosher (more like something for people who eat everything). I was really looking forward to the ice cream, but was disappointed when we made tiramisu. Of course, the dessert still tasted delicious! All in all, great for anyone who wants to try something new and at the same time wants to eat traditionally.

This cooking class was originally booked for pasta making and gelato. However unfortunately the Gelato machine was broken. We were informed of this the day before and the organisers were able to add us into another class that was for pasta and tirimasu making. The chef was excellent in explaining the process step by step, especially for people who had never attempted something like this. The pasta you make then becomes your meal and you also receive a glass of wine or soft drink and you then have the desert you made along with coffee or lemoncello. Great value for money and a lovely experience
