Maybe you don't know but the visit to the basilica is free of charge, just like every other church in Italy, and to go in the dome you can buy a ticket there, which wouldn't cost you as much as the tour....but in doing that, you'll have spared somw money, but also you lose on the very important and interesting information oue guide us. She gave us a short history lesson and helped us understand what we are seeing. Loved it with the guide. Up in the dome the view ist the best, ans worth going up the stairs.

The tourguide was brilliant! Giovanna, very pationate about her job, knowledgeable, communicative. The tour was very intense to get some introduction abd then to see major points for a while. Truly recommend 3 hours with the guide. Whats most important, please add a notice that after the trip with the guide you need at least 1h to go up, rest a bit, take pictures and go down (for the people who are going for the next trip e.g. Sistine Chapel or Museum. Not much time and quite a long walk from one exit to the next entrance. Thank you for your time Giovanna!

Sabina was the most interesting and informative guide we have experienced on your tours. Her interaction with group members was wonderful. She informed without being tedious and kept the tour moving without being dictatorial. The tour is wonderfully organised into three parts - each as informative and exciting as the other. We enjoyed the fact we could continue on after the tour to see more of the basilica by ourselves. If it was possible we would give this SIX stars not five! Thank you for a memorable experience!
