Redeeming 2x vouchers was cumbersome but then everything worked very well

It was very cumbersome to first have to exchange the voucher in the provider's office and then have to convert the voucher for the Colosseum received there in the Roman Forum. However, the "fast track" entry" worked excellently and we had considerably more time and peace than with a guided tour; The Hop On buses drove regularly, highly recommended for an overview and then targeted sightseeing, also the 48 hour running time

Hop on/hop off bus Rome

There are already hop-off/hop-on buses in many metropolises. A wonderful thing for exploring a big city. The only point of criticism for Rome: you first have to go to a tourist office to find out which bus you can use and which route it takes. We have I crossed the city diagonally on foot. It could have been easier..

Skip the line to the Colosseum...

2 days Hop On Hop Off is too much for this route. One day is enough to get an overview of Rome and the sights. We lived so centrally that you could easily reach a lot on foot. The best thing was being able to skip the queue with the tickets for the Colosseum. However, we had to wait at the entrance to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill because groups had priority.
