Amazing experience! So happy we splurged as backpackers for this. Great food, great experience. Definitely wrap up as it gets into the colder months as it’s very cold in the tent you begin in. Our table (1) was right next to where the toilets were so they kept the flap to leave propped open, we were all so cold, so defo need a jacket and layers. Apart from that was an amazing experience, the show was stunning. You were asked not to film the beginning and I felt so much more immersed into the ceremony but could still film the parts after for friends and family which was great. Definitely a must-do in Rotorua, also the people who took part in the show - 10/10 definitely made the experience for us. That and the amazing amazing food.

I really enjoyed this experience, you got to see how they made different greenstone pieces, ask questions and even got to put a piece on a rope for yourself to keep. Our tour guides were very nice and knowledgable. Reasonable price too, would consider this a must-do.

Alessandro was a fantastic guide. He was giving great facts and your explanations the whole drive, was funny, and kind. Def a great guide for cheeky kiwi

The host and meal were amazing. The glow worm was at the end was a bit rushed.

Awesome tour that gave great insight into the Māori culture.
