Was a good trip if a bit up and down on the return journey! The guides on board are good but I would recommend booking your own gondola trip and definitely do not book the meal they offer as its rubbish. Their are plenty of reasonably price restaurants a street or two away from St Marks Square with pizza starting from E7.50.

The journey was efficient and smooth with information about venice provided on the ship. However, we booked what we thought was a 7.10 boat. Other people at the dock had tickets saying 7.45. It was very unclear if we were all in the right place or not. After lots of running around and stress it turned out that we were all on the same boat but our tickets all said different times. It was needless stress for a bit more clarity during the booking process and signage at the dock. Also when booking there was no facility to provide information about additional passengers so they all had the same details and no passport details (required for port authority). The company Atlas were efficient and emailed immediately to get the missing details and check we definitely wanted one way and hadnt booked it by mistake.

You had the choice to take their whole package eg, transfer, gondola ride, lunch, part of package or none at all. Didn't feel pressurised; I only used the transfer as I wanted to do my own thing. Thought Atlas staff were really helpful with lots of information.
