Meet your guide in Luis de Camoes Square and begin your sightseeing tour of Lisbon. Explore the city's cultural center, Largo do Chiado, and visit the Alfama district together with your local guide. Start your tour with a visit to Largo do Chiado. Stroll past the cafés where Portuguese intellectuals used to meet and enjoy a cup of coffee alongside the famed Portuguese pastry, the Pastel de Nata. Discover the Church of São Roque, one of the most captivating religious temples in Lisbon, and marvel at the ornate interior. Take a minute and relax under the jacarandas in Largo de Carmo, before entering the Carmo Convent with your skip-the-line tickets. See the ruins of an old Gothic church that was destroyed by the earthquake that hit Lisbon in 1755 and now houses the Carmo Archaeological Museum. Visit the Santa Justa Lift, an important work of engineering from the early 1900s. Walk along the elegant Rua Augusta until you reach the arch that leads to Praça do Comércio, Lisbon's main square. Admire the Cais das Colunas, the old entrance to the city from the Tagus River. Next, visit the Lisbon Cathedral. Built in the 13th century on top of a ruined mosque, this is Lisbon's most important and iconic religious buildings. Head to the Old Church of Our Lady of the Conception and admire the Manueline-style elements used on its façade. End your tour with a stroll around the charming Alfama quarter. Enjoy the incredible views of the city from the Miradouro de Santo Estêvão, while you taste the Ginjinha, the traditional Portuguese liquor prepared by local ladies. Visit the exterior of the Fado Museum, the best-known expression of Portuguese music.

I the city center, you can walk by Augusta street and Rossio Square or go to the top of the Triumph Arch in Commercium square. There are also the typical old neighborhoods of Bairro Alto or Alfama (with the Cathedral, Saint Anthony Church and the amazing viewpoint of Portas do Sol), where Fado music came from. Of course, we can also visit the Oceanarium in the new Lisbon.

When choosing the starting point, follow the Avenida da Liberdade that awaits you with dozens of shops of the world's biggest names in fashion. On the Chiado and Rua Augusta, you will be able to buy some traditional Portuguese products. Have lunch in one of the city's many markets, which have been recently renovated and is now some of the trendiest places to eat in Lisbon. If you are looking for something different, then Bairro Alto is the ideal location for your shopping alternatives. But if you do not want to waste time wandering the streets, your favorite destination will be El Corte Ingles, a department store offering everything from clothing to cosmetics.
