1. From Hanoi: 2-Day Trekking To Villages In Sapa with Homestay
Explore authentic Thai culture with a homestay and trekking expedition to the Sapa region. Get close to nature as you hike down small trails, enjoy a homestay in a traditional home, and get to know the way of life of 2 different tribes. Enjoy local meals, as well as roundtrip transportation from Hanoi. Day 1: Hanoi to Sapa by bus and Hike to Lao Chai/Ta Van Start your experience with a morning bus journey from Hanoi to Sapa, arriving around lunchtime. Make use of some free time to freshen up in your room before having lunch at your hotel. Then, begin your hike down the small trails of the Muong Hoa Valley toward the Black H'mong village of Lao Chai. Admire some of the most beautiful views of terraced fields in Asia as you go. Continue your 12-kilometer hike along the bottom of the Valley to stop at the Dzay tribe village of Ta Van, arriving in the late afternoon. Day 2: Hike to Dzang Ta Chai and return to Hanoi Begin your second day with a 6:30 AM wake-up call, and spend some time enjoying village life for yourself. Next, have some breakfast at your homestay before getting ready for the day's trek. Hike to Dzang Ta Chai, home of the Red Dzao tribe. Experience the contrasting way of life lived by these tribal people. Continue your trek through and reach a picturesque waterfall, where you can pause for a rest and picnic lunch. After lunch, get ready for your bus journey back to Sapa. Have some free time in your hotel room to freshen up, before your transfer by bus back to Hanoi.
