He was totally candid and at times inspiring on his views of Barcelona and Spain in general. I am much more cognizant of Spain's history because of my interactions with Joan. Sagrada Familia, that is a masterpiece by Antoni Gaudi. I just learned of his tragic death but also how much colorful his life was.

I booked a solo private tour and it turned out to be a great decision. My tour guide Miguel was very knowledgeable and had such obvious passion for the city that helped me fall in love with Barcelona too. I was only in the city for a couple of days and I would have never been able to experience as much of the city on my own. The private tour was like spending a day with a new friend and knowledgeable local.
